Croatia
Croatia is located in the south east of Europe at the intersection of the Pannonian Plain and the Mediterranean Sea. The long and beautiful coastline, varied history, nice Venetian towns and craggy mountain ranges are just one of the numerous reasons Croatia has become one of Europe's travel hotspots.
Croatia is best known for its coastline, which is said to be one of the best in whole of Europe. There are more than 1000 islands off the Croatian shores with warm Mediterranean sun and the pristine beauty. The Croatian coastline is not all that Croatia has to offer. Among others, Croatia has a rich and colorful history and culture, beautiful cities, and countryside worth visiting.
Croatian Istria, which is inland, can be compared to Tuscany, with its rolling green hills, fine local wines, good food and a wide assortment of white and black truffles. In the interior region, you can find Zagorje, a home of many historic castles set against the backdrop of verdant hills.
